Christine is a massive Formula One fan and supports McLaren. A regular at the racetrack side flying her flag!!!
With 30 years experience in the public sector as a senior manager she has an exemplary track record of delivering sustained improvements particularly in health and social care. Specialist areas of expertise include implementation of the Mental Health Act and Mental Capacity Act and safeguarding vulnerable adults. Well developed skills in change and project management, communication, partnership working, financial and performance management. A highly motivated professional who is a strong leader, flexible, delivers results and is committed to improving the quality of service delivery.
She is proud of taking failing service’s and improving them to be providing excellent services for vulnerable people. She developed a lot of the first inter-agencies policies used as model of good practice nationally. Other career highlights are integrating large health and social care organisations and some work for CQC has led for improvements for service users.
Working across sectors such as Local Authorities, PCTS, The Audit Commission and currently works for CQC, Court of Protection, is a First Tier Tribunal Member (Mental Health) and a social work member for the Health and Care Professions Council.
Holding a Degree in Social Policy and Administration, and MSC in Partnership working in Health and Social Care, as well as undertaking (numerous) social work related training courses.
Christine loves outdoor walking, spending time with her family and friends, is an avid book club member for years and has beena vice chair school governor for many years. All keeping her very busy….this is my life!
