Our Philosophy |
 |
The Athena Programme philosophy:
- We come from our heart to embrace new concepts,
originality, humour and transformation in our work.
- We are creative, innovative, dynamic and passionate
in our work.
- We promote and value collaborate working for
safeguarding children and vulnerable adults
- We are child and person centred and promote shared
participation.
- We are advocates of experiential and blended
learning and believe in continuous personal,
professional and organisational growth.
We believe that a company stands and falls by the quality
of its products, its performance and its philosophy. At the
Athena Programme we want people to feel that when they ask
us to work with them we are genuinely serving their needs
whilst remembering the vulnerable child / adult - that is
our primary concern.
Our philosophy is to work in partnership with our clients so
that everybody has the opportunity to express themselves
fully and understand that their needs are being listened to
and met. We aim to encourage an honest and open working
atmosphere where clients can clearly see who we are, where
we are coming from and what we are doing. We celebrate our
ability to be flexible. We are not interested in what is
right or wrong, we are interested in celebrating difference,
promoting best practice and continuous learning so that we
can pass on that learning to others.
We believe that if we want to get better at what we do both
within our company and what we offer our clients. We do this
by recognising that we must constantly look at what we are
giving out in terms of our beliefs, thoughts, actions and
where we focus our energy.
We know that the learning process is reciprocal and that if
we are doing our jobs well we learn as much from our clients
as they do from us. Nurturing trust and confidence between
ourselves and our client’s means that we can have long and
productive relationships with everyone we work with at all
levels.
