Safe Learning Environment |
 |
We take the responsibility for
providing a safe and supportive training environment for our
learners both as individuals and as a group very seriously.
We believe that by being honest, fair and
innovative in our approach to learners we can help them to
make the most from their training experience with us.
We pride ourselves on creating a safe and caring learning
environment where groups and individuals can explore
sensitive issues in the knowledge that they will be
supported in getting assistance with any difficult issues
that may arise in the course of the training. Safeguarding
can be an emotive issue from which difficult individual past
or present experiences can arise. All our training
programmes are structured to facilitate a safe process for
discussion and learning around the subject matter.
We know from experience that whilst some people may embrace
our learning styles with enthusiasm others may find them a
bit daunting, and of course this can be true in all types of
training and learning situations.
Although our aim is to encourage and support learners to
consider and embrace new learning styles and opportunities
the power lies ultimately with the learner and we always
respect their right to say “no” to any particular exercise
we may ask them to take part in. We have a robust learning
contract which enables learners to discuss in advance any
aspect of the course they may be concerned or apprehensive
about. |

Safeguarding Children and
Vulnerable Adults Statement
The safety of children and vulnerable adults is considered
paramount, therefore any information obtained during
training courses or consultancy sessions which indicates
that a child or vulnerable adult may be at risk of harm will
require our staff to take appropriate action. This may
include contacting social care, the police and your
management to ensure that the right people are aware of the
risk to that child, children or vulnerable adult(s).
We are committed to promoting a safer, more secure and
happier life for children, young people, vulnerable adults
and their families.
